David Smith

David Kenton Smith, 58, of Blue Springs, MO passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at his home with his family by his side. Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 19, 2008 at St. Peter’s United Methodist Church in Blue Springs, MO. Cremation with interment in Blue Springs Cemetery. David was born February 8, 1950 in Mt. Vernon, IL to Everett Kenton and Martha June (Deem) Smith. He lived life to the fullest and loved traveling to the islands. His family meant the world to him. David is survived by his wife of 36 years, Joy (Hill) Smith; son Tyler Smith, daughter Tiffany Hughes and husband David; granddaughters Paige and Payton Hughes; his mother Martha June Smith; his brother Kevin Smith; sister Karen Lowrie; and by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends. He was preceded in death by his father Everett Kenton Smith in February, 2008.
