Heather Renee Smith, 25, Leavasy, MO, passed away Friday, July 29, 2011 while living in California.
A celebration of Heather’s Life will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 6, 2011 at Speaks Buckner Chapel; 300 Adams St., Buckner, MO. Visitation will be from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Salvation Army or Way Side Waifs. Heather was born November 21, 1985 in Kansas City, MO the daughter of Warren Dale and Susan Anne (Walker) Smith. She was an entrepreneur that never shied away from work. Heather attended the Heart of God Church. She enjoyed art, scrap booking, and especially loved life and being with family.
Survivors include her husband Michael Giles; mother, Susan Smith; father, Warren Smith and wife Renee; sisters, Angela Smith and husband Mike, Rebecca Noel, Naya Smith, and Jordan Smith; brothers, Jessie Smith and wife Leann, Jacque Brown and wife Milicine, and Jushayn Smith; maternal grandmother Shirley Walker; five nieces, one nephew and her traveling Black Lab companion, Roman.
