Roy Smith

Roy Wayne Smith, 58, passed away, May 1, 2014 at the Kansas City Hospice House after a long battle with cancer and is now fishing with the Lord. He leaves behind his loving wife, Susan of 34 years; 2 step children Eric and Tonya Rogers; 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 3 sisters. Cremation is planned with a memorial service to be held at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at the Church of Christ East 78 Highway and Holke Rd in Independence, MO. The family will greet friends from 5:00 p.m., until service time Tuesday at the church. Donations may be made in his name to the Kansas City Hospice House.
