Ruby Evelyn Zuvers Smith

Ruby Evelyn Zuvers Smith, 94 of Blue Springs, MO passed away Sunday, March 11, 2007 at St. Luke�s Hospital. Cremation is planned and the family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Friday evening at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Ruby was born July 9, 1912 in Pontiac MI where she spent her early life and graduated public schools there. She had worked for over 20 years as a lab technician for Independence Regional Heath Center before she retired in 1989. She had also been a volunteer for the Red Cross and Civil Defense. She enjoyed all kinds of crafts, sewing and was an accomplished cake decorator. She is survived by; 2 sons, David Pinto and his wife Marci of Overland Park, KS and Chuck Zuvers of Blue Springs, MO; 2 granddaughters, Terri Eck and Sheri Stidham and 3 great grandchildren.
