Janice Snapp

Janice Lee Snapp, 68, of Blue Springs, MO passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at Centerpoint Medical Center. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 26, 2009 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will be 3-5:00 p.m. Sunday, January 25, 2009 in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Sunshine Center. Burial in Mound Grove Cemetery. Jan was born October 19, 1940 in Chariton, IA to John C. and Jessie H. (Owens) Cackler. Her career was spent in nursing working at Independence Regional Health Center, and the Independence Health Department before retiring in ’93. Her life revolved around her family. Jan was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. Mrs. Snapp was an active and faithful member of the East Alton Community of Christ. Jan is survived by her husband of 46 years, Lowell Snapp; daughter Karen Murray and husband Tom; son David Snapp and wife Tammy; grandchildren Jared and Isaac Murray, Jacob and Lucas Snapp. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Steve Cackler.
