Gilbert B. Snell

Gilbert B. Snell died Aug. 23, 2004. A memorial visitation will be held 7-9 pm, Thursday, Aug. 26, 2004 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Cremation. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the Missouri Dept. of Conservation. Gilbert was born May 29, 1955 in Independence, Mo. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and a graduate of the DeVry Institute. He was a Senior Technician at M.C.I. Telecommunications, where he had worked for 20 years. Gilbert was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time in the woods. He was preceded in death by his father Buford Snell. He is survived by his wife Ingrid Snell, son Zachary Snell, and daughter Katelin Snell, all of the home; mother, Rebecca Snell Carnal, Indep., MO; mother-in-law and father-in-law Ilse & Hans Brodersen, Indep., MO; brothers and sisters-in-law, Steve & Denise Snell, Indep., MO; Ben & Dale Ann Snell, Blue Springs, MO; Bob & Karen Snell, K.C., MO; Tim & DeAnn Snell, Birch Tree, MO; sister-in-law Mimi Newby and her husband Dennis, Indep., MO; and numerous nieces and nephews.
