Ralph S. Snell

Ralph "Shorty� Snell, 53,of St. Louis, formally of Blue Springs, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2003, at the home of his daughter in Blue Springs. The service will be held at 1:00pm Tuesday at the Speaks Suburban Chapel with interment in the Dripping Springs Christian Church Cemetery in Columbia, MO. A visitation will be from 7-8:30 pm Monday at the Chapel. In lieu of the flowers the family has requested donations to made to the Colonial Hills Community of Christ or Carondelet Hospice. Shorty was born on August 28, 1949 in Independence MO to Ralph S. Snell and Clara L. Stone Snell, and had lived in the area until recently, when he moved to the St. Louis area to open his own Restaurant, Off The Grill. Shorty�s greatest passion in life was that of his 2 daughters and the arrival of his first grandson. Shorty is survived by his wife, Sue Snell; daughter, Tracy Snell; daughter Amy Campbell (Todd); Grandson Ty Campbell, all of Blue Springs. He is also survived by 3 sisters, Glenda Thompson (John), of Huntsville Al, Phyllis Wyatt, and Lorene Bailey, both of Blue Springs. On line condolence can be made at www.speakschapel.com.
