Donna Sparks

Donna Rae Sparks, 62, of Independence, Missouri passed away Monday, July 26, 2010, at Kindred Hospital surrounded by her family and friends. A visitation will be held from 7-9:00 p.m. on Friday, July 30, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 31, 2010, at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Cremation will follow services. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Lung Association. Donna was born July 18, 1968, in Independence, MO to Wesley and Virginia (Thomas) Bilquist-Redman. She graduated from William Chrisman high school in 1966. Donna served the Federal Government for 31 years as a Personnel Management Specialist for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) before retiring in 2006. Donna is preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her mother, her daughter Kristin Elizabeth, her uncle Philip Thomas, her aunts Dorothy Sevy (Gordon), Ruth Hontz, and Joyce Johnson, her cousins Cynthia Thomas, Mark Sevy (Natalie), Whitney Sevy and Tyler Sevy, her brother Glen True (Sharon), and many other close family and friends.
