Wilma Specht

Wilma Ruth Specht, 92 of Independence, passed away Wed. Dec 26, 2007 at Rosewood Health Center. Services will be 10:30 am, Sat. Dec. 29, 2007 at the Carson- Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Indep. MO with the visitation being held one hour prior to the service. Burial in Md. Grove Cemetery. Contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society. Mrs. Specht was born on Dec. 14, 1915 to Alma and Annie (Street) Luff in Independence, MO. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed gardening, sewing, quilting and spending time with her family. She had been a faithful member of the Community of Christ Church for many years. Wilma was preceded in death by her husband Bernard and a son, John Paul. She is survived by a son David Specht and wife Sue of Harrison Township, MI, four grandchildren, Edward and Julie Specht, Cindy Bohm and Amy Buchholz and three great grandchildren.
