Juanita Spicer, 82, of Blue Springs, MO, passed away, Sunday, July 19, 2009 at Blue Springs Care Center. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 25, 2009 at the Buckner Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Friday evening at the chapel. Juanita was born April 24, 1927 in New Braunsfel, TX to Delfeno and Masari (Para) Sanchez. She was a devoted wife mother and grandmother who enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with children. She was a member of Israel’s Gathering. She was married to Willie Lee Spicer, he preceded her in death in 2006. Survivors include; 4 daughters, Geraldine Robinson and her husband Bobbie of Clinton, MO, Mary Lawrence of Cedar Park, TX, Shirley McKenzie and her husband Donald of Buckner, MO and Laurie Drope and her husband Jeff of Wichita, KS; 2 sons, Donald Lee Spicer and his wife Nancy and Michael Spicer and his wife Tina all of Buckner; 3 sisters, Aurelia Beubabies, Sally DelGado and Irene Sanchez all of New Braunsfel, TX; a brother, Bunny Sanchez of New Braunsfel, TX; 15 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
