Frances Spielbusch

Frances Augusta Spielbusch, 91, of Independence, MO passed away Saturday, August 9, 2008 at Golden Living Center. Graveside Services will be 12:30 p.m. Thursday, August 14, 2008 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be 11-12:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2008 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 39th & 291 Hwy. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Frances was born August 12, 1916 in Kansas City, MO to Adolph and Amanda Johnson. She was blessed with many talents such as playing the piano, and organ, painting, cooking, and a wonderful seamstress. Mrs. Spielbusch loved life and was known for her sweet smile and gentle laugh. Frances is survived by her son David Spielbusch and wife Luella, daughter Elaine Spielbusch, sons Glen Spielbusch and wife Nancy, Brian Spielbusch and wife Karen; grandchildren Sherri, Duane, Patrick, Sandy, John and Kyle; great-grandchildren Gregory, Jamie, Rachael, and Ryan; and by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Leo Spielbusch in ’99 and brother and sister-in-law Adolph and Vera Johnson.
