Lois Spurrier

Lois Irene Spurrier, 72, Independence, MO formerly of Fremont, NE passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Centerpoint Medical Center. Inurnment will be at 11:30 AM, Monday, May 2, 2011 at Memorial Cemetery; 800 W. 23rd Street, Fremont, NE 68025. Lois was born January 5, 1939 in St. Paul, MN, the daughter of Harold G. and Gladys M. (Ahlstrom) Gilbertson. She retired from the Dodge County Sheriffs department in 2004. Lois was a member of the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Gary Spurrier in 2000 and her parents. Survivors include her brothers, Donald Gilbertson and his wife Glenda of Independence, Roger Gilbertson and his wife Sandy of White Bear Lake, MN, Warren Gilbertson and his wife Teresa of Fond du Lac, WI; sister Marilyn Bunten and her husband Reg, of Antigo, WI; and sister in law Carol Ann Kelly and her husband Ben of Littleton, CO; and numerous nieces and nephews.
