Gilmore Squier

Gilmore Lee Squier, 86, of Independence, MO passed away on October 15, 2010 at the hospital in Warrensburg where he was a resident of the Missouri Veterans Home. Mr. Squier was a Navy Veteran of both World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a retired employee of Kansas City Life Insurance Co. Gil was a member of the Masonic Lodge 76 and of the Ararat Shrine where he transported children to the Shrine Hospital in St. Louis for many years. Mr. Squier was preceded in death by three brothers and his wife, Rose Mary. He is survived by a sister Ruth Jackson of Eureka, CA and many dear friends. A visitation will be from 10:30-11:00 AM Tuesday, October 19 at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave, Independence. Graveside services to immediately follow at Mt. Washington Cemetery.
