In loving memory of our second mother, Kathy Mae Staggs, 55, of Independence, MO passed away Friday, February 19, 2010 at North Kansas City Hospital. Visitation will be from 2-4:00 PM Monday, February 22 at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence. Services will begin at 4:00 PM Monday at the chapel and cremation will follow services.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Amos and Annie Maxine (Guffey) Staggs. She is survived by her loving family: Harold Staggs, Brenda and Harold Tennison, Glenn and Dorothy Staggs, Randel Staggs, Nancy and Richard Long, Clara and John Sloan, Patty Staggs, and Addie and Denver Brison; uncles: Charles Guffey and wife Pansy, and Virgil Guffey and wife Trudy; eight nieces; ten nephews; 16 great-nieces; eight great-nephews; and 1 great-great-nephew. Kathy will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
