Dorothy H. Stamper, 84, of Kansas City, MO, passed away, Friday, April 9, 2010 at Research Medical Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 12, 2010 at the St. Matthew Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. There will be a rosary recited at 6:00 p.m., Sunday evening followed by a visitation from 6:30 to 8:30 Sunday evening at the Carson-Speaks Chapel. Donations may be made in her name to Research Medical Center Palliative Care. Dorothy was born August 16, 1925 in Seneca, KS to Jacob and Bertha (Dalsing) Kremer, Sr. She was a devoted wife mother and grandmother who enjoyed sewing, crafts, reading, traveling and camping, was a room mother for her children and most of all spending time with her family especially at holidays. She had worked as a retail clerk for A&P Grocers for a number of years. She was a member of St. Matthew’s Catholic Church and the Retail Grocers Union. She was married to Frank Leroy Stamper on December 10, 1949; he preceded her in death on October 28, 1996. Survivors include; 3 daughters, Donna Thomas (Jerry) of Belton, MO, Debbie Wright (Thomas) of Mansfield, MO and Sharon Harmon (Paul) of Pleasant Hill, MO; 3 sons, Ronald Stamper (Juanita) and Donald Stamper (Emma) both of Olathe, KS and William (Bill) Stamper (Mary) of Glendale, AZ; a brother, Junior Kremer of Centralia, KS; a sister, Mary Ann Chandlee of Shawnee, KS; 19 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
