Jean was created by God Aug. 14, 1928 to Robert and Anna Cramer, Florence, MO. She was a long-time member of Maywood Baptist Church in Independence. She was actively involved for a number of years as nursery coordinator and choir member. Her love of the Lord carried through to her work as librarian and secretary at Nowlin Jr. High, Independence. Her favorite past-times were her family and cheering on the Royals. Her passion in life was to be sure her children, Patty Baker and husband Gary of Independence, Paul Stanton of Independence and Cathy Gerber and husband Terry of Pleasant Hill were secure in their faith and salvation in Jesus Christ. The Lord blessed her with five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Her two amazing sisters Laura Gessley-Friar and Pat Driskell, both of Independence, have been sweet blessings in her life. Jean received a call she always longed for and did not want to refuse, to an appointment from which she will not return. She now has a union with the God she loved. She is having a grand reunion with her husband, Thomas Stanton, her parents, two sisters: Martha Cramer and Ruby Bremer and friends she has not seen in a long time. Jean is now in a perfect place, Heaven, with her Master at her side. There is happiness in her heart and sweet rejoicing as she walks with God in perfect peace and joy forever new.
