Stephanie Lynn McCoil passed away on April 9, 2024, after a courageous battle with a rare cancer.
Stephanie was a bright light in a sometimes chaotic world. She was calmness where there was turmoil, patience when there was restlessness, and hope when there were dark days.
Born on September 1, 1969, in Midlothian, Illinois, Stephanie grew up in Westminster, Colorado. She graduated from Westminster High School in 1987 and attended Ft. Lewis College graduating with a BA in Mass Communications. Stephanie enjoyed a successful career in Marketing. Most recently she worked for SS&C Technologies where she was a Sr. Growth Marketing Manager.
An avid photographer who loved nature, Stephanie found joy at the Kansas City Zoo and on family camping trips. She was also a passionate soccer fan.
Through everything, with all of her successes, her greatest pride were her husband Mike and her children Drake, Olivia, and stepson Steven, who preceded her in death. She was a committed mother, rarely missing a soccer game or a school event. She was so proud of the people that her children had become and that they were pursuing passions of their own.
Even facing a brutal disease, Stephanie's humor and optimism never wavered. She kept things normal for her family as much as possible, cracking jokes and lightening the mood with her signature wit. Even during her illness, Stephanie's humor and optimism shone brightly, a testament to her strength.
To say Stephanie will be missed by her husband Mike, children Drake and Olivia her parents Linda and Leonard, her brother Daniel (Niki Shah) her sisters Linda, Michelle (Bill), Patricia, Susy (Mark) Ann (Paul), her Aunts, cousins and numerous nieces and nephews is an understatement.
Her service will be at 11:30 a.m. on May 25th, at Mt. Olivet Chapel 12801 W. 44th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033
