Charles G. Stewart of Bradenton, FL died Friday, November 21, 2014. Born May 10, 1950 in Independence, MO. “Chuck” as he was known, graduated from Truman High School in the class of ’69. He attended the RLDS Church and was a member of the Second Church congregation until 1982 when he joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints as a member of the Independence 3rd ward. He served in many positions in both churches and especially enjoyed working with youth. He was a big kid and was known for his quick wit, practical jokes, and a desire to keep people laughing and entertained. Chuck was a talented artist and photographer. He had a deep appreciation of music and loved to sing. Most of all, he loved his friends and family. He was preceded in death by Sister, Janice Sue Stewart and Parents, Helen and Glen Stewart. He is survived by his Son, Christopher M. Stewart and Daughter in Law, Kristi of Jackson, GA; Daughter, Holly Hesse and Son in Law, Brian of Olathe, KS; Sister, Sharon K. Barackman and Brother in Law, Bruce of Bradenton, FL; and by two beautiful Grandchildren, Jaxon and Ella. Family and friends will have the choice of attending two memorial services. The first will be held in Independence, MO at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 20, 2014, at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. The family will receive guests from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Suburban Chapel. The second will be in Blue Springs, MO at Lake Jacomo, planned for Father's Day 2015. Details TBA via Facebook.
