Donna Stewart

Donna Mae Stewart, 71, of Lee’s Summit, MO passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at St. Luke’s Hospital. Memorial Services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 23, 2008 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1-3:00 p.m. Cremation with private interment. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Donna was born January 11, 1937 in Dixon, IL. She partnered with her husband, Art Stewart, who has been an integral part of the Kansas City Royals since its inception in 1969. Donna grew to love many of the young boys coming from the farm clubs as they worked their way up the ranks into Major League baseball players. Mrs. Stewart could always be found in the stands rooting for her team and was a faithful supporter of the club. Donna is survived by her husband of 47 years, Art Stewart; daughter Dawn Marie Stewart and her husband Brian Mansfield; grandsons David Arthur and Mark Stewart Mansfield; and by a host of many special friends.
