David Leon Stickley, 55 of Wheatland, MO, formerly of Independence passed away Sun. May 4, 2008 at St. John’s Regional Health Center in Springfield, MO. Services will be 10:00 am Fri, May 9, 2008 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Indep. MO. Visitation will be from 7 �" 8:30 pm, Thursday at the chapel. Private inurnment will be held at a later date. Mr. Stickley was born on Jun. 22, 1952 to Roy and Daisy (Pryor) Stickley in Eldorado Springs, MO. He had been a concrete finisher for Turner Michael Construction for many years and was of the Pentecostal Faith. David was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoy woodworking, fishing, hunting, Harley Davidson Motorcycles and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. David is survived by his wife of 37 years, Kathy Stickley of Wheatland, MO; three sons, David Bindi of Lee’s Summit, MO, David Collins of California and Adam Stickley of Independence. A daughter, Jessica Stickley of Wheatland, MO; four brothers, Leroy Stickley of Clinton, Howard Stickley of Independence, Harry Stickley of Hermitage, MO and Tommy Forrest of Osage Beach, MO. Two sisters, Janette Tolen of Urbana, MO and Janie Noland of Bolivar, MO. Ten grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews, whom he loved greatly.
