Judy Marie Stilwell (Beeman)

March 10, 1943 — January 13, 2023

Judy Marie Stilwell, 79, beloved wife, mother and grandmother went home to be with the Lord on January 13, 2023. A funeral service will be held on Friday January 20, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Speaks Suburban Chapel. A visitation will precede the service at 9:00 AM. Committal to follow service at Swan Lake Memorial Park.

Judy was born on March 10, 1943, in Independence, MO to two loving parents Robert V and Marie Alberta (Reninger) Beeman. On December 21, 1990, Judy married Gary Stilwell and enjoyed 32 years of marriage together. A graduate of the University of Nebraska, Judy earned her bachelor’s in Interior Design, and moved to Oregon with Gary, where she lovingly designed the house the two of them adored. The couple enjoyed sharing the beautiful views of Mt. Hood with friends and family who visited often. During her time in Oregon, Judy worked for Interior Motives Design where she utilized her unparalleled creativity and exquisite taste to assist others in also creating the home of their dreams. After a time, Judy returned to Missouri with Gary to be closer to her family where she continued her career designing for Ethan Allen and founding Illusions Interior Design.

Judy will be remembered by her loved ones for her elegance, loving nature, and her occasional, endearing stubbornness. Judy had an incredible adoration for her family. Nothing brought Judy more joy than spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, whom she was lovingly known as Mema. Judy doted on each one and a visit with Grandma did not pass without being constantly reminded by her of how much she loved you, how beautiful she thought you were, and how proud she was to be your grandmother. Judy will be missed dearly by all her loved ones and her presence will always be felt in their hearts.

Judy is survived by her husband, Gary Stilwell; daughter Stephanie (William Gregg) Hopkins, son Robert Olinger II (Brendalee Olinger Towers); granddaughters, Charity (Bradley) Jones and Breely (Brandon) Bennett; grandsons, William Sean (Leah) Hopkins, Bryce Olinger and Brennan Olinger; great-grandsons, Jaxsin Wade Ridings, Maverick Allen Jones, William Gabriel Anthony Hopkins and Leonidas Vincent Jeffery Hopkins; great-granddaughter Elliott Grace Bennett; and brothers John VanCleave, Jack VanCleave, Robert Beeman and Jack Beeman.
