Ruth Stingl

Ruth E. Stingl, 89 of Independence, MO passed away Sunday, April 8, 2012 at home. A Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am, Thursday, April 12, 2012 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church; 600 N. Liberty, Independence, MO 64050. Burial at Mound Grove Cemetery, Independence, MO. Ruth was born on July 8, 1922 in Koenigsberg, Germany to parents Georg and Luise (Klein) Oschlies. Her family came to Independence, MO in 1951. She worked for 25 years as the secretary for the Dietician at Independence Sanitarium and Hospital. Ruth Loved to travel and made many trips with friends and family. Ruth was preceded in death by her Husband Karl Stingl in 1981, her Sister Ingeborg Woodworth in 1995 and Kenneth Woodworth in 1996. She is survived by her daughter Regina Harmon and her Grandchildren, Steve Anderson, Mike Anderson, Marie Ottens, Gina Anderson, and James Bowman.
