Phyllis Jean Stocks of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2022. She was 70 years of age.
Phyllis was born on June 10, 1952, in National City, California, the daughter of Allen and Thelma (McLaughlin) Burnett. She married her best friend and love of her life, Michael Stocks, on January 16, 1982. In the year of 2000 Phyllis and her family moved from California to the Kansas City, Missouri area where they remained. Phyllis was a beautiful, strong woman. In her spare time Phyllis enjoyed, reading, watching Hallmark movies, and going to the casinos. She was a lover of all animals, a collector of elephants, and loved listening to Elvis. Most of all Phyllis loved and adored her family, she will be greatly missed.
Phyllis is survived by her husband, Michael Stocks; daughter, Shannon (Roy Hesterberg) Beebe; grandchildren, Bryan (Abby) Zionskowski, Summer (Morgan) Norris, Hailee Beebe; great grandchildren, Paxton Zionskowski, Amelia Norris; siblings, Bonnie (Skip) Rhodes, Mary (Albert) Gallion. She is preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Thelma Burnett; and brother, Wayne Burnett.
A Celebration of Life will be held by the family at a later date.
