Stanley Wayne "Stan" Stocksdale

Stanley Wayne Stocksdale, 78 of Independence, MO, passed away, March 7, 2015 at his home. Cremation is planned with a memorial service to be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 14, 2015 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2885 Hardy, Independence, MO 64052. Stan worked as a tool and die mold maker. Stan loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed spending time with his family fishing, hiking, playing tennis and golf. Stan was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and served as an elder in the Rock Creek Congregation. He was baptized in 1963. Stan is survived by: his wife Gwendolyn of the home; 3 children, John (Beckie), Steve (Vickie) and Daniel (Nichole); 6 grandchildren, Diana, Mandy, Merissa, Adin, Macie and Adison.
