Randy Dean  Stone Sr.

Randy Stone, 58 of Independence, returned to the Lord on Tuesday, Nov 10, 2015, with his family and friends at his side. Services will be 2 pm, Sat., Nov. 14 at Carson-Speaks Chapel at 1501 W. Lexington, Independence, MO 64052; interment at Buckner Hills Cemetery.. Visitation 6-8 pm, Friday, Nov 13 at the chapel. A reception will follow the committal service Sat. at Fraternal Order of Eagles, 11424 W US Hwy 24, Independence, MO 64050. The family would like to recognize NorthCare Hospice House for their care and support. In lieu of flowers, donation to this wonderful group of caregivers is preferred. Randy was born Feb 14, 1957, the son of Muril and Wilda (Taylor) Stone. He was an avid Royals and Chiefs fan. He loved and lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing cards, country music, and dancing. Randy is survived by his partner of 13 years, Kathy Lynn of the home; sons Randy Stone Jr, Jay Stone, Mike Stone, Joe Stone, Johnny Maddox and wife Christina, and Derek Stone; step-children Jimmy and Jessica Lynn; brothers Muril Stone, Jr., Gary Stone and wife Gloria, Christopher Stone, Rick Stone and wife Brenda; sisters Janet Jones and husband Reggie, Valerie Worly and husband Jim; grandson Wyatt Stone; granddaughters Lola and Khloe; foster siblings David Carpenter, Vickie Blatt, and Yolanda Ferguson; numerous nieces and nephews; and countless other family and friends.
