Raymond Stone

Raymond E. Stone, 98, Independence, MO passed away Sept. 27, 2007. Services will be 2 pm, Sat. Sept. 29, 2007 at Carson-Speaks Chapel; interment at Mound Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time.
Raymond was born Sept. 14, 1909 in Galena, MO. He was a stone/brick mason and was a member of Bricklayers Local #15 for over 60 years. He was an Elder in the Remnant Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Blue Springs Congregation and was very active in his church.
Raymond was preceded in death by his wife Ruby Stone in 2000. He is survived by his daughter Joy Lynn Davis and husband Allan, Independence, MO; son Joe Ben Stone and wife Violet, Bates City, MO; grandchildren Michele Fields, Todd Stone, Eric Davis, Stefanie Luttrell; and nine great-grandchildren.
