Carl Otto Stover, 80, of Independence, MO passed away Monday, January 2, 2012. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, January 6, 2012 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Speaks Suburban Chapel.
Carl was born January 23, 1931 in Kansas City, MO to Otto and Elizabeth (Alff) Stover. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict and received two bronze service stars. For many years, he was employed as a salesman at Electro Bumper Plating of Kansas City, MO.
Carl is survived by his brother, Albert Stover of Independence, MO and many loving cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Sylvia (Watson) Stover.
