Clinton R. Strider, 25, died April 5, 2004 in Richmond, Mo. Memorial services will be held 2 pm, Thursday, April 8, 2004 at Faith Ministries World Outreach Center, 12222 Blue Ridge, Grandview, Mo. Graveside services will be 11 am, Thursday at Hardin Cemetery. Visitation will be 7-9 pm, Wed. at Speaks Suburban Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Clinton Strider Memorial Fund, c/o Faith Ministries International, 12222 Blue Ridge, Grandview, Mo. 64030. Clint was born Aug. 19, 1978 in Lexington, Mo. Clint was also a 3 time Missouri State Champion wrestler at Park Hill High School. He attended the University of Missouri on a scholarship. He was presently a student at DeVry Institute and a member of the church. He was an avid sports fan. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James & Dorothy Strider, and grandfather, Dean Helvey. He is survived by his mother, Teresa Ekern, and husband Steve, Lee�s Summit, MO; father, Steve Strider, Richmond, MO; sister, Erin Lucas, and husband, Kent; brother, Samuel Ekern, all of Lee�s Summit, MO; step-sister, Rebekkah Taylor and husband, Chad, Claycomo, MO; maternal grandmother, Shirley Hughes, Blue Springs, MO; grandmother, Corine Ekern, Belton, MO; and many other friends and family members.
