Alfreida Stroeher

Alfrieda M. Stroeher, 90, of Independence, MO passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at St. Luke’s Hospital East. Visitation will be 2-4:00 p.m. Sunday, October 11, 2009 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 12, 2009 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 309 Hoffmeister, St. Louis, MO 63125. Private inurnment in Jefferson Barracks along side her husband Hank. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Alfrieda was born March 3, 1919 in Apple Creek, MO to Hugo and Catherine Buchheit. Fritzi loved life, family and friends! Mrs. Stroeher is survived by her son Michael Stroeher and wife Vicki; daughter Wendy Biggerstaff and husband John; grandchildren Carri Heitz and husband Derek, and Nick Biggerstaff and wife Tracie; and by a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Alfrieda was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Henry Stroeher in ’03; and by her 11 siblings.
