Lillie Sutton

Lillie Mae Sutton, 93, of Independence, MO passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2011. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10-11:00 a.m. Entombment in Mound Grove Mausoleum. Lillie was born May 1, 1918 in Allardt, TN to Henry and Florence (Hale) Yahnig. Mrs. Sutton is survived by her son Russell E. Sutton; daughter Janet Case; seven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; three sisters; one brother. Lillie was preceded in death by her husband Lilburn Russell in ’44; daughter Donna Mae Auer in ’01; and by two great-grandchildren.
