Rodney David Swanson

Rodney David Swanson, 65, of Independence, MO passed away Monday, January 30, 2023 at his residence. A graveside service is being held at 10:00 AM on Sunday, February 5, 2023 at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Rodney was born October 26, 1957 in Kansas City, MO to George David and Faye Louise (Robinette) Swanson. For many years, Rodney worked as a color specialist at Hallmark. Rodney and his wife, Cynthia, had three sons together. He will be remembered for his hard work and dedication to his fmaily and those he loved.

Rodney is survived by wife, Cynthia Ann (Everley) Swanson; sons, David and Ian Swanson; mother, Faye Louise Swanson; and sister, Vicki (Swanson) Marek. Rodney is preceded in death by son, Rodney Swanson; and father, George Swanson.
