Marie Gertie Swartz, 78, Independence, MO passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2012.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, January 6, 2012 at Carson-Speaks Chapel; 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 7, 2011 at Mound Grove Cemetery.
Marie was born March 27, 1933 in Sugar Creek, MO the daughter of Melvin L. and Nancy E. (Kazy) Gilmore. She retired from Bendix (Allied Signal) in 1992. Marie enjoyed playing bingo, cooking for the family and crocheting.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles; two brothers, six sisters and her parents.
Survivors include her sons, Frank Dendish, Sr. and his wife Mary; Ron Dendish, Sr. and wife Linda; grandchildren, Frank Dendish, Jr., Gary L. Dendish, Ron Dendish, II., and Kristie Daniels; 12 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and sisters, Velma Thomas and Sharon Mason.
