Ervin Sweem

Ervin W Sweem, 76, of Sibley, MO passed away Friday afternoon Sept. 19, 2008 at Centerpoint Medical Center. Services will be 10 am, Wed., Sept. 24, 2008 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; interment at Mound Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 6- 8 pm, Tuesday at the funeral home.
Ervin and his wife, Lillian, were married in Harrison, AR on Dec. 30, 1950. He retired from Armco Steel in 1986 after working there for thirty-five years.
Ervin was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and a brother. He is survived by his wife of fifty-seven years Lillian Sweem, of the home; son Ervin Samuel Sweem and wife Donna; daughter Terri Lee May and husband Jimmy; sister Doris Crawford, Moses Lake, WA; brothers Cliff Sweem, Lapine, OR; R.L. Sweem and wife Alberta; David Sweem; Jerry Sweem and wife Carol, all of Hamilton, MO; grandchildren Michele Chitwood, Christopher Emanuel, Katherine Maciak; ten great-grandchildren and many dearly-loved friends.
