Harriett Swigart

Harriett B. Swigart, 91, of Independence, MO passed away June 9, 2011. A graveside service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 13, at Lee’s Summit Historical Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Ruth Hoffman; brother, Lyle Hoffman; and sisters, Leora and Rogine Rauch. Harriett is survived by her children, Lee (Judy) Swigart, Kay Swigart, Rick Swigart, Jane (Darwin) Bingham, Joel (Marty) Swigart, Vick (Brad) Bauer, Carl (Carol) Swigart and Doris (David) Eckert; 20 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
