Earl Omar Swindle

Earl “Pete” O. Swindle, 78, of Kansas City, MO passed away June 2, 2015. A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10, at the VFW Post 1000, 1002 E. US 24 Hwy, Independence, MO. Pete was born May 17, 1937 in Lebanon, IL. He retired as a Staff Sgt. in the U.S. Air Force after 20 years of service, working in strategic air command. Pete is survived by his wife, Anna Swindle; two daughters, Vicki Ballard and husband Beau, and Conya Norman and Ray Davis III; two stepchildren, Bob Heath Jr. and Anna Marie Hunt; as well as three grandchildren, Elizabeth Ballard, Ciera Norman and J.T.
