Patricia Talbott, 74, of Lees Summit, MO, passed away on August 17, 2014, surrounded by her loving family at her home.
She was born August 5, 1940 in Indio, California. She met and married Jim Talbott in 1962 while attending Compton Junior College, and together they had one daughter, Barrie Talbott.
Patricia devoted 25 years to volunteering at Powell Gardens, while also tending to her home garden, cooking, and enjoying the animal wildlife.
She is preceded in death by father, Herman Carter; mother, Mattie Carter; and brother, Jay Carter. She is survived by husband, Jim; daughter, Barrie (Philip Arnold) Talbott; and two grandchildren, Sophie and Graham.
A memorial visitation will be held at the family’s home on August 30, 2014, from 1:00pm - 5:00pm.
