Helen Marie (Casner) Taylor, 92, Independence, MO passed away Friday, October 31, 2014.
Helen was born January 24, 1922 in Carroll County, MO the daughter of Price and Nellie (Moran) Casner. She was a homemaker. Helen was a faithful member of Maywood Baptist Church for over 65 years where she was involved in many church activities. She enjoyed ceramics, quilting and spending time with family.
Survivors include her son, Roger Taylor (Lynn); daughter, Joyce Morrison (Al); granddaughters, Kendra Strum (Curtis) and Alyssa Jones (Joshua) and additional family and friends. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Roy in 2010 and granddaughter, Caitlin Morrison in 2005.
Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Maywood Baptist Church; 10505 W. Winner Rd., Independence, MO 64052. Memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church. Inurnment will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday; November 8, 2014 at Monticello Cemetery, Shawnee, KS.
