Lawrence Lee “Larry” Taylor, 66, of Lee’s Summit, MO passed away, Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at the Kansas City Hospice House. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 25, 2007 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Burial will be in Union Baptist Cemetery in Marshall, MO. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the chapel. Larry was born December 23, 1940 in Bonneville, MO to Leo and Elsie Leona (Woolridge) Taylor. He grew up in the area and graduated from Blue Springs High School. Mr. Taylor was a locksmith and had owned Ace Lock & Key and also Larry’s Lock Service. He had also worked as a draftsman. He enjoyed bowling and was an avid music enthusiast. He belonged to the S.A.F.E. Locksmith Club. He was a veteran who proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. He is survived by his wife Judy (Conner) Thomas of the Home; a daughter, Kimberly of Kansas City, MO; 3 step children, Jeff Thomas (Vickie) of Malta Bend, MO, Keith Thomas (Ann) of Lee’s Summit, MO and Connie Rayl (Jeff) of Bonne Terre, MO; his mother, Elsie Leona Taylor of Kansas City, MO; a grandchild and 3 step grandchildren, Joshua Rayl, Ulyesses Thomas and Alissa Proctor.
