Teresa Gale Soto, also affectionately known as "Tia", passed away on September 5, 2023, at the age of 67. Born on October 1, 1955, in Independence, Missouri, Teresa's life was one filled with love, laughter, and a deep commitment to caring for others.
Teresa's journey began in Independence where she graduated from Truman High School. Always eager to expand her knowledge and skills, she went on to take a few courses at her local community college. It was during this time that she discovered her passion for helping others and embarked on a career as a quality specialist at CSL plasma.
Known for her infectious sense of humor and never-ending smile, Teresa brightened the lives of everyone she encountered. She had an extraordinary capacity for love and care, treating everyone as if they were part of her own family. Whether it was offering words of encouragement or lending a helping hand in times of need, Teresa had an innate ability to make others feel valued and supported.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Teresa enjoyed indulging in simple pleasures. She found solace in the pages of a good book and cherished the moments spent shopping and eating out with her loved ones. These activities brought her immense joy and allowed her to create lasting memories with family and friends.
A compassionate soul who touched the lives of many, Teresa's kindness extended far beyond the workplace. She nurtured relationships that went beyond blood ties; she was a mother figure to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her unconditional love knew no bounds and left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to experience it.
Teresa was preceded in death by her parents; Carl and Edith Keehler, her sister; Vivian Keehler, and her sweet fur-baby; Pancho. She is survived by her beloved husband of 44 years; Martin Soto, brother; Ted Keehler (Shelby), nephews; Edmundo Pizarro, Jose Pizarro, Raul Pizarro, John Keehler (Tasha), Indigo Keehler, Emerson Keehler, and Matson Keehler, nieces; Ana, Mary, Elida, Alejandra, Amber Young (Trey), Iris Young, Rune Young, Eden Young, Andrea Raymond (Matt), Bayley Raymond, Avery Raymond, Griffin Raymond, Fletcher Raymond, Tracey Hobbs (Sam), Dahlia Hobbs, Anastasia Hobbs, Trinity Hobbs, Serenity Hobbs, and Jana; great-nieces; Pamela, Jennifer, and D’alexa, great-nephews; Adan, Geno, Little Raul, and last but not least, Sergio and Abdul. She is also survived by her daughter by life; Cristina Ceniceros and her children, Maribel, Marisol, Gabriela, Ignacio Jr., her husband Ignacio Ceniceros, and all her work family at CSL Plasma.
In honor of Teresa's remarkable life, a Memorial Service will be held on September 16, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at Speaks Suburban Chapel (18020 E 39th St. S. Independence, MO 64055)
Teresa’s legacy will live on through the lives she touched and the memories she created. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love serve as a reminder of the incredible impact one person can have on the world. As we mourn her loss, let us also rejoice in the beautiful life she led, and carry her spirit with us always.
