Theresa Ann Jobe

Theresa Ann Jobe, of Independence, Missouri, passed away Monday, February 19, 2024. She was 80 years old.

Theresa was born on April 8, 1943, Independence, Missouri, the daughter of John P. and Laura C. (Heider) Curtin. She graduated from Blue Springs High School in 1961 and on July 23, 1981, she wed Willard Jobe. She resided in Rocky Mount, Missouri for many years until October 4, 2023, when she made her home at Wilshire at Lakewood.   Theresa did administrative work and bookkeeping for many years. She was an avid card player and enjoyed many games. In her spare time Theresa enjoyed crafting and her specialty was jewelry making. Many loved ones and friends cherish what she made and gifted to Wilshire at Lakewood in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.

Theresa is survived by siblings, Mary (Warren) Parker, Jim (Vicky) Curtin; Ed Curtin; many nieces and nephews she loved dearly and extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Jobe, her brother John (Sheralyn) Curtin and her parents, John and Laura Curtin.

Cremation is planned with a Celebration of Life to be held at a future date.
