Barbara Thomas

Barbara G. Thomas, 71, of Independence, MO passed away Thursday, November 19, 2015. Private memorial services will be held at a later time.
Barbara was born March 10, 1944 in Jefferson City, MO as one of three children to Lockwood Kaiser and Lorraine Adams. She graduated from Washington HS in Kansas City, KS. She worked for Miracle Ear for over 15 years before retiring in 2013. She married her beloved Gary W. Thomas on July 5, 1985 and together they enjoyed fishing, trips to Las Vegas, and their furry children, Charlie and Jimmy. Her family remembers her as bold and spunky personality. She is loved and will be missed.
Survivors include husband Gary of the home; daughter, Misty Marie (Salaki) Wilcox and husband David; son, Jason Nicholas Salaki; daughters, Angie and Shanna Thomas and Jamie Moore and her husband Billy; grandchildren, Joey Jacob, Chad, Blake, Anthony, Jessica, Joey, and Paige; four great grandchild; and finally her beloved pets.
