John Thompson

John Thompson, 93, of Independence, MO passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at Monterey Park Care Center. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 25, 2010 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10-11:00 a.m. Burial in Mound Grove Cemetery. John was born December 2, 1916 in Independence, MO to John and Bertha (Childers) Thompson. Mr. Thompson is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Vida (Crow) Thompson; sisters Helen Huntsucker, Jeanette Smeby; and by a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends. John was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.
