Parvalyn Joyce Thompson (Stephens)

Parvalyn Joyce Thompson, 85, Independence, MO passed away Jan. 25, 2020. Graveside services will be at 10:15 am, Friday, Jan. 31 at Mound Grove Cemetery.
Joyce was born Sept. 20, 1934 in Shenandoah, IA and graduated from William Chrisman High School. She
worked at Truman Medical Center East for over twenty years and retired from Independence Regional Hospital.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Thompson and brother Ronald Stephens. She is survived by daughter Jill Henley and husband Randy, Independence, MO; son Michael Archer, Marina Del Rey, CA; grandchildren Rachel Ashley and husband Donald; Ryon Juliana, all of Independence, MO and great-grandson Logan.
