Kim Tippy

Kim K. Tippy, 64, of Independence, MO passed away Sunday, May 31, 2009 at Monterey Park Nursing Center. A celebration of her life will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, June 4 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Scleroderma Foundation, Attn: Donations, 300 Rosewood Dr., Ste. 105, Danvers, MA 01923 in Kim’s memory.
Kim was out-going and always willing to lend a helping hand. She was very devoted to her faith in God and was a prayer warrior. She enjoyed driving, nature and scrapbooking, but lived for her family and wanted her grandchildren to know her. Kim had majored in music and enjoyed music of all kinds and traveling.
Kim was preceded in death by her mother, Beverly Fern (Weedmark) Hawkins. She is survived by her father, Richard Jerry Clark; daughter Cheri Harmon and husband Paul; son Scott Merrill and fiancé Diana; twelve grandchildren: Robert, Chad, Nicole, Tawnya, Tara, Brandon, Krystin, Daniel, Kyle, Timothy, Robert, and Thomas; four great-grandchildren: Blake, Jaiden, Dawson, and Maleah; four siblings: Terry Julian, Denice Dalrymple, Verna Flahive, and Jerry Clark; and a host of extended family and friends.
