Freida Trabue

Freida Trabue, 80, of Independence, MO passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2011. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 13, 2011 at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052. Visitation will be 3-5:00 p.m. Sunday, June 12, 2011 in the chapel. Burial in Mt. Washington Cemetery. Freida was born January 2, 1938 in Camden, MO to Gilbert and Bertha (Jones) Caviness. She was happiest when surrounded by her grandchildren! Mrs. Trabue enjoyed art and made drawings and cards. She was an avid bird watcher and was blessed with a beautiful singing voice. Freida is survived by her children Sue Johnson, Gilbert Leach and wife Tracy, James Leach and wife Cheryl, Harold Trabue, Howard Trabue; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother J.R. Caviness and wife Betty. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Trabue; sons Steve, Richard and Gary Leach.
