Marcia Lee Troutwine (Merrell)

Marcia Lee Troutwine, 86, Lee’s Summit, MO passed away Nov. 6, 2015. Services will be 10 am, Monday, Nov. 9 at Carson-Speaks Chapel. 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052; interment at Mt. Washington Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9 am before the service at the chapel. Marcia was born Sept. 9, 1929 in Indianapolis, IN and grew up in Kansas City, graduating from Paseo High School. She was a member of the American Business Women’s Association (A.B.W.A.) and had been a supervisor for the I.R.S. She and her husband were also members of the Elks Lodge in Laurie, MO; She enjoyed RV traveling and reading. Marcia is survived by her husband Gerald Troutwine, of the home; son Bob Troutwine and wife Nancy, Liberty, MO; daughters Cindy Wells and husband Don, Austin, TX; Gayle Troutwine, Jefferson City, MO; Nancy Deel and husband Doyle, Colorado Springs, CO; brother Fred Merrell and wife Shirley, Blue Springs, MO; eight grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
