Mary F. Troyer, 91, Rolla, MO formerly of Independence passed away Thursday, February 10, 2011 at Rolla Manor Care Center.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, February 14, 2011 at Stone Church Community of Christ; 1012 W. Lexington Ave, Independence, MO. Burial to follow at Mt. Washington Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 AM Monday at the church. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association, St. Louis Chapter.
Mary was born December 24, 1919 in Montgomery County, AL the daughter of Charles T. and Carmen C. (Courtney) Duncan. She retired in 1986 from Sears. Mary was a member of Stone Church where she was active in numerous activities and volunteered as a tour guide at the Auditorium. She enjoyed feeding the birds, gardening and being a seamstress.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband Ernest O. Troyer in 1985; and her daughter Judith Ann Caudle.
Survivors include her son, Jerry D. Troyer of Rolla; daughter Mary Gail Newland and her husband James of Samona, GA; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
