Patricia E. “Pat” Truman, 64, Independence, MO passed away Feb. 1, 2013. Services will be 2 pm, Monday, Feb. 4 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO; interment at Blue Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Sunday at the chapel. Pat was born Feb. 8, 1948, in Ft. Knox, KY. She graduated from William Chrisman High School in the Class of 1966. She was a manager for Red Lobster Restaurant for thirty years and retired in Dec. of 2008. She worked for the Independence School District for three years after her retirement. She loved crafts and fishing at Tablerock Lake.
Pat was preceded in death by her mother Louise Carr and brother J.D. Carr. She is survived by husband Tom Truman; son Jason Truman, both of the home; father Bill Carr, Laurie, MO; brother Ron Carr and wife Deborah, Springfield, MO sister-in-law Bonnie Carr; sister-in-law Nancy Young and husband Bob, all of Independence, MO; brother-in-law Bob Truman and wife Marrianne, Lee’s Summit, MO; aunt Franny Knabe and husband John, Grain Valley, MO; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
