Jimmie Arthur Turner

Jimmie Turner, 87, of Independence, Mo, passed away December 30, 2022. He was a devoted husband to Pauline June Bray and father of four. He graduated high school and served in the National Guard in the 1950’s. He managed an A&P grocery store and worked for Wonder Bread until he opened his own businesses. He owned and managed Mugs-Up Drive In and Turner’s Cafe in Kansas City, Mo for over 20 years before retiring. He was an avid sportsman, hunter, fisherman and loved boating and living the lake life.

Jimmie is preceded in death by wife, Pauline and son, James Michael “Mike” Turner. He is survived by his three daughters Patricia Cantu, Karen Turner-Danner, and Rebecca Brewster, 7 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
