Billie D. Tweedy, of Pleasant Hill, MO died at 12:15 pm on Monday Oct. 12, 2009. A Celebration of Life will be at 12:30 pm, Friday, Oct. 16, 2009 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th Street, Independence, MO 64055; cremation with interment at Mound Grove Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will begin at 11 am prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Crossroads Hospice.
Billie was born in 1948. She was a loving mother, wife and sister. She was the light of our lives. Billie leaves behind her husband Gene Tweedy, of the home; seven children: Floyd Nunn and Richard Nunn, both of Pleasant Hill, MO; Sandra King, Blue Springs, MO; Michael Cogan, Independence, MO; Kent Cogan, Harrisonville, MO; David Tweedy; Tammy Huls, both of Independence, MO; sixteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters and three brothers.
Mom, we will surely miss you!
